AGMA Procurement Hub

As an integral part of the wider AGMA Improvement & Efficiency Programme, the AGMA Procurement Hub is leading collaboration of Procurement across the Greater Manchester authorities and their partners. Working closely with procurement colleagues across the sub-region the ‘Hub’ supports and facilitates Smarter Procurement to secure significant efficiencies for its member authorities.

 

Maximising Economies of Scale, utilizing the latest eProcurement systems and eliminating process duplication are just some of the activities undertaken by the AGMA Procurement Hub. The AGMA Procurement Hub also provides a key capacity building role for the AGMA procurement community by acting as a conduit to ensure emerging regional and national Best Practice is identified and shared. 

 

In addition, the AGMA Procurement Hub also provides a key data analysis function to its member authorities through its 'SpendPro' spend analysis service. As well as providing vital management information to individual authorities SpendPro is now informing key collaborative procurement strategy across AGMA.
