Priorities and Work Programme
The Public Protection Commission has developed a detailed work programme around three overarching Strategic Aims:
Strategic Aim 1: To protect our communities from terrorism, disasters and organised crime
Strategic Aim 2: To ensure excellence in crime and disorder reduction and community safety
Strategic Aim 3: To transform our service delivery to ensure services that best meet our communities' needs, raise public confidence and maximise our partnership delivery
The work of the PPC contributes significantly to the delivery of objectives in the Greater Manchester Strategy to tackle chronic community safety issues in deprived communities, enhance feelings of safety and security and improve quality of life for people living and working in Greater Manchester.
