The Future Jobs Fund team, local authority and third sector partners have successfully achieved the challenging target of 3124 young people into jobs. Department of Work Pensions have recently released national statistics from the Young Person’s Guarantee, including data on FJF across the country. The most recent national statistics available show that to the end of May 2010, 40,720 people were in FJF jobs. With over 3,100 people in work from our AGMA bid alone, Greater Manchester is making a significant contribution to the national picture.  DWP have reiterated the message that we should all continue to be committed to FJF until the fund comes to an end and the Department of Work and Pensions new work programme is in place.
